Running with the Devil // Crowley
Touching down on the ground, the sound of wings casting over her blew the wind behind her. Standing up forth, she searched around her. She had just finished her first task as an angel... and she was so excited she couldn't even breathe properly. Her mother would be so proud of her... if only she were still here. Her father wouldn't even recognize her anymore, but he would have supported her just the same. Taking a deep breath, she had to go investigate some demonic activity that was going on within the warehouse district, near the run down areas of London. She was on... personal business.
Castiel was being haunted by the voices in his head, by a man by the name of Crowley. Who he was exactly, she wasn't sure, but she remember seeing his sinister eyes stare down at her while she was being tortured. He was the King of all things evil, ruling in Lucifer's stead while he was away. She was going to find out what he was doing and why.Hearing the rustling sound of scuffed boots in the distance, she turned her head, realizing that she was no longer alone. Narrowing her eyes and holding her hand close to her angel blade, she took a deep reassuring breath to stay calm.
Someone was in the Warehouse. Teleporting inside, she looked around for a long moment, the sound of a leaky pipe in the distance. Stepping forward, she grit her teeth, the smell of sulfur emanating around her. She wasn't sure if she could hold the clueless act for much longer. Taking her angel blade out, she held it close to her, preparing for anything that might come her way. "Come out, I know you're here," she muttered. "Come out, Crowley. I just want to chat."

Re: Running with the Devil // Crowley
A fog of black smoke appearing before the woman who had so eagerly allowed herself to become trapped, the man appeared before her, a smirk upon his face and folded arms. "Well, well, if it isn't my little nephilim," his words stuck out in an articulate manner. "Finally deciding to come home with us?"
Looking at her more carefully now though, something was quite different about her... as if her grace had expanded ten fold and her soul had been missing--no not missing... transformed. Raising an eyebrow and pacing around the young woman, he looked up and down her... suddenly feeling an intense force, seeing right through her skin.
"You've been converted by the angels," he spoke lowly, in disappointed. "I'm so sorry. Did you have any ideas of what their plans for you were? Or did they feed you their bullshit so that you'd agree to go with them?" Shaking his head in amusement he then took a few steps back from her to give her space and to show he had no intentions of attacking her.
"So why did you want to chat then?" he raised an eyebrow. "Oh, and how is Castiel? I've been meaning to say hello to him, but I figured since he was assigned to protect you, he may have a bit of a... conflict on who to choose was more important to side with," his lips curled into a smile. Leaning back on one of the machines from the warehouse, he waited for her response.

When he had come to realize that she had been converted into an angel, she gave a smug look on her face as she held her blade tightly. She wasn't going to let this man say otherwise about her conversion though. She knew she did it for the right reasons. They needed her and she couldn't risk the demons taking hold of her. Her angel wings cast behind her in the shadows as she watched him.
"Despite what you may think, I joined willingly because it is what I've always wanted," she nodded. When he had then mentioned that he wanted to chat though. "You're doing something to Castiel and he won't tell me what. So you're going to explain to me what it is," she glared at him, clenching her fists.
When he had then asked her how he was though, she felt a tug on her heart in anger as she watched him. Controlling herself was becoming hard. "He's fine thanks..." she decided to leave out most of the details in case they could be a bit harmful later on, or used as information. Still... what did he mean he had to choose?
Watching him in confusion for a long moment, she analyzed him up and down... so what did he mean..? Her expression had softened with a bit of worry as she watched him, unsure of how to react. "...What do you mean by choose a side?" ...They couldn't have possibly worked together in the past, could they?

Re: Running with the Devil // Crowley
So Castiel left out some details to his little woman, huh? Interesting. Looking at the way her eyes had evaded him when his name was spoken, and the tone of her voice... Crowley could tell there was much more to their acquaintance than just the roll of guardian and damsel. "How very curious," he murmured to himself as he smirked.
Taking it upon himself to then pace around once more when she had then asked what it meant to choose a sign, he laughed quite loudly, almost as if he couldn't believe that was even a question. "Are you quite serious, darling? He must have told you!" Stepping up to her and giving her a look of both amusement and sympathy he sighed.
"I'm so sorry your little angel is lying straight to your face. You see, he and I used to be partners... back when he started a civil war with the angels of heaven," he sneered, knowing that his words were going to bring in some slight questioning to her mind. "He helped me open up Purgatory. Why..? Because it was his master plan to defeat Raphael."
Putting a hand on her shoulder, he shrugged. "Sorry, sugar. He's been hiding things from you... did he tell you about the time he ate the souls of leviathans and became God? He killed a lot of people... didn't feel sorry for any of it. He may be an angel of the lord, but he has enough darkness in him to host a hoard of demons."

Re: Running with the Devil // Crowley
No. None of that could be true, could it? He was a demon, demons lied. Looking away from him and to the ground, she felt a chill move up her spine with every word he uttered. Where the hell was he going with this..? Shaking her head in denial, she bit her lip, not knowing what to say or how to react.
Castiel didn't lie to her about everything did he? Did he really do something like this? He'd turn on his brothers and sisters like that? Start a civil war? But why? And why would he resort to opening Purgatory? And... kill all those innocent people? The thoughts rushed to her head, but imagining him doing something like that was absolutely terrifying.
"No, no, you're lying, you have to be," she muttered to him. When his hand had moved to her shoulder though, she immediately whipped away from him, looking at him in disbelief. "Don't touch me. Don't get near me. Especially when you're telling lies like that!" she spat at him, glaring at him as she gripped her blade tightly.

When she had pushed herself away from him, flinching at her touch, he couldn't help but chuckle lightly, shaking his head. "Sorry, dear, I may be a demon, but there would be no sense in lying about that," he began walking around her in circles again. "If you don't believe me, go ask him yourself. Sure he may have tried to hide it, but he can't keep it a secret forever, especially when you pry."
Something was going on between the two of them and he wanted to figure out what it was… Oh, but he had Raptus for that. Turning to the side as a fly approached him, he quickly whispered to it that he wanted Raptus to find out what the relationship between those two angels were. Turning back to Aislinn with a smile, he clasped his hands together.
As the bug had approached him once more after a long moment of silence… the things he had found out were quite… curious. "So," he began, a smug grin on his face. Oh the things he knew, if only they had kept this gold a secret! "Tell me, do you really think it's okay for your husband to be lying to you about such things?" his spoke darkly. "Sounds like a fine way to start a marriage."

Re: Running with the Devil // Crowley
How could any of this be true? It didn't make sense to her at all! Why would he work with a demon..? And cause so much death? A look of disbelief plastered over her face, she felt herself slowly inching toward the door. She had heard enough. She'd find out what was really true from Castiel. But when he then spoke, a sudden look of over confidence on his face, she wasn't sure what to expect.
And then he spoke of them being married, and she felt herself become overwhelmed with worry and her heart started to race. No, he couldn't have known, how could he?… but of course she remembered. Raptus had found out. How stupid of her to have let that information slip to him. Biting her lip, she watched him for a long moment… he was right.
"We love each other, that's all that matters," she glared at him, unsure of what else to say. "I can't expect him to want to talk about something like that… if it's true, he's probably ashamed of it." She would keep defending him. She wasn't going to let any demons try to break them apart. Besides, they were in it for the rest of eternity. Breaking a bond like that had consequences.

Re: Running with the Devil // Crowley
The look on her face was absolutely priceless. A smile of satisfaction was growing wider and wider on Crowley's expression as he then shook his head, sighing at the girl's fears. At her next comment though, he laughed. "You call it love, but I call it obsession. How much do you two really know about each other?"
Although his knowledge of how long they've known each other was skim, it was a short enough amount of time to find their idea of bonding hilarious. Now standing in front of the door, he pressed his hands to the handles, making it seem as though he was leaving… although he was really hexing it so that it would not open for her. His plans would come together.
"You see… I need Castiel. Which is why I will ask you nicely to come with me so that he knows that I mean business," he gave a tight smile to her as he walked around her once more. "Of course, I'm giving you the option to come willingly. Otherwise… I'll have no choice but to take you by force," he looked up at the ceiling, snapping his fingers as fire started to burn at an angel trap above her.

Feeling her anger seethe inside to his first comment about their "obsession," she felt a low growl of irritation at the edge of her throat. Taking a deep breath to keep her composure, she watched the man, seeing what he was doing as he then walked over to the door. Keeping her hands on the angel blade, she wasn't sure if he was locking the door or not… but then he spoke.
"I'm not going with you anywhere," she muttered, but suddenly she had looked up, seeing flames ahead, forming an angel trap. Her eyes widened as she attempted to break free, but of course nothing worked. Looking at him desperately for a moment, she felt her heart race as she gripped he blade tighter.
"I'm not letting you get to Castiel--if what you said is true, then he's had enough of you in his lifetime! I don't need you causing trouble for him anymore, especially when his loyalties are being questioned--probably because of you!" she glared at him, gritting her teeth. "I'm not going anywhere."

"You see, that's not the answer I was wanting to hear from you," Crowley's tone of voice changed as he became much more serious, a look of murder upon his face. "From what I've heard you're quite special up there in heaven, huh? Leading an army and what not..." he folded his arms as he watched her carefully.
"You and I are going to make a deal... alright?" he smirked. "You're going to control your little winged friends up there... let Daddy do his job down here and give us enough time to build our forces," he looked at her with a serious gaze. "If you don't... well then I'll just have to kill your precious Castiel. He's no match for me."
Walking around the ring of fire that she was trapped inside of, he took a deep breath in and let out a sigh. "You see, he's tried making deals with me before... and they've always been quite disappointing in the end. I hope you can prove to me that angels can be reliable," he suddenly paused. "Oh yes... and you are not to tell a soul of our deal. Not one person. Not even Castiel. If he finds out you and I have talked... and he dares try to touch me, then I will drag you into hell."

Re: Running with the Devil // Crowley
Being trapped and forced to listen, Aislinn felt her heart skip a beat when he had mentioned she had to keep the angels distracted. How could she do such a thing and not get caught? She watched him disbelief, especially when he then mentioned that if she did not comply, that he would kill Castiel.
"Don't you dare," she quickly said, shaking her head. "You leave him out of your deals!" she watched him quickly as he then mentioned that she could not tell anyone. The idea of being dragged back into hell sent a surge of fear into her as she stumbled away for a moment, at the edge of the angel trap, watching in disbelief.
"....Please don't you dare hurt Castiel..." she pleaded once more. "I-I'll do anything, please just don't hurt him..." she felt her lip quiver in defeat. She watched him for a long, desperate moment, hoping and praying that he would not try to involve her husband in such a way. She couldn't bear the thought of it.

Re: Running with the Devil // Crowley
Grinning at her desperation to save her lover, Crowley continued to pace around her. "Wow, poppet, I didn't think this would be so easy," he chuckled as he then stopped to face her, examining her eyes to see just how desperate she was. In the end, it seemed she cared little for her own fate, but rather she just wanted Castiel safe.
"On the terms that you do not speak of our deal to anyone, I promise that Castiel will not be harmed by me or any of my servants. Whether Raptus or Lucifer, or anyone else does though, is a completely different story and I have no control over that," he expained as he gave her a serious expression.
"I request that you distract your little angel friends for some time. I am currently involved with some… plans that will heavily throw back Lucifer's goal. You see, him and I don't exactly see eye to eye for the war, and I'm not exactly in the mood to be screwed over. So spare me some time. I'm on your side at this point," he grinned sinisterly.
