A Walk in the Woods // Dean Winchester
This was going to be an interesting trip. Sam Winchester had given word to Reagan of a strange case in disappearances throughout the Sherwood Forest. Although it wasn't common, the nature of their disappearance was always the same, and that was what concerned her the most. People would take their children or significant others on camping trips and without a word, either the children or women go missing. No bodies are ever found.
Reagan and her newly found boyfriend (and she found it hard to believe still that she was actually in a relationship again) Dean Winchester decided to take up the case. They, of course, had to play the part of an unsuspecting couple who were going camping in the woods and had to see what would happen. There were several people who have given witness stories, claiming a man without a face would walk off with their children and would never be seen again.
Why though? Why would the children just willingly walk away with them? The only thing she could think of was that it either attracted them in some way or hypnotized them, cast a spell on them, or possessed them. When they had arrived to the camping location, she packed her bags with extra clothes and tons of hunting equipment, including her newest addition, a shot gun. The two had to hike to their camping location.
When they finally arrived, she immediately went to set up the tent, asking Dean to set up the fire. They would have to wait until night to see if anything would happen. She couldn't help but feel a bit nervous though. She had been given several papers from Sam of legends for what it could be. When the camp was finished, she sat down at the fire next to Dean, biting her lip in apprehension. "So... have you ever heard of the Slenderman myth?"

Re: A Walk in the Woods // Dean Winchester
Dean had packed everythig he could think of into the hiking bag and the other gear for camping because he needed to. He had no clue what they were against, his Angel Blade was on his hip and he'd bored the Demon Killing Knife from Sam. That was in his boot, he wasn't going to be caught off guard at all. His favorite gun was easily accessible and he'd do whatever was needed to take care of things.
Dean loved the idea of having to play the part of a couple it was enjoyable as he looked at Reagan. This whole hunt was going to be fun, Dean was a little bit nervous too about Reagan's safety. He was very uncertain about the fact that Reagan was the one that was in danger instead of him.
They hiked up to the spot and settled on the spot he was pleased with this whole journey, it would help that this would work with whatever threat. He started on the fire as Reagan set up the tent, he had the fire done quickly enough. "Hmm..Yes a bit." Dean said to her with a smile as he thought about other things glancing at the tent. "We've got a bit of time..." A rather mischievous look in his eyes.

Re: A Walk in the Woods // Dean Winchester
Sitting at the campfire, the sunset was taking forever. She wasn't sure why, but she absolutely loved hunting. It was just something she was born to do, she guessed. Leaning against Dean, she gave a sigh as she listened to him say that he had heard of the threat.
When he had then said they had some time, her eyes perked open as she looked at him, and then to the tent. She couldn't help but chuckle lightly, "So... is that all you ever wanna do?" she winked as she leaned into his touch and pressed her lips against his gently. She then pulled away from him with a smirk.
For some reason, she enjoyed teasing him. Not only was it amusing, but it made the final moment when they actually get to it to be more worthwhile. All that pent up frustration had to go somewhere in the end. Noticing that it was getting darker out she placed her hand on his. "Unless you're good at quickies, we should probably hold it off for now."

Dean smiled at her the setting sun was beautiful and made better by the beautiful woman sitting right next to him. He smiled at her she was very much a hot woman and he loved having her there with him, she was amazing to him. He truly did like her company if he didn't he wouldn't have gone on this hunting trip with her.
He smiled at her, he was very much having fun with this woman that was sitting at his side her words made him grin. "With a hot woman at my side yes." Dean said to her with a grin as he returned her kiss and held her close he really wanted to be in the tent with her in private. The smirk irritated him, he began to feel aroused and more than a bit frustrated as he looked at her.
Dean grinned and laughed as he looked at her and nodded, "I can manage a quickie...As long as get good later." He told her as he looked at her, her hand was so warm and gentle on his it was nice. This woman was very loving and he enjoyed her she knew how to rile him up without being mean and he liked doing the same to her.

When he had said that he could manage a quicky, Reagan rolled her eyes as she laughed lightly, "Let's just focus on the case for now. Then we can celebrate later. We have to keep our guard up," she looked at him seriously for a moment and then her lips curled into a crooked smile. "I have some... new outfits to show you," she purred.
When nighttime finally came around time had passed and the fire was still burning. The two chattered and she decided to tell some spooky stories to set the mood. She was waiting patiently for whatever it was that was going to come to come out. Leaning against Dean again, she laid herself down in his lap and looked up at him, just talking. It was nice.
"I haven't spoken to my parents in years... not since I left the states," she sighed, explaining her story of why she came to London. Her parents were divorcing because her father had an affair. She couldn't be around it, so she left. "Why did you come to London? You were famous in the states. Why here?"
Suddenly though, she heard a rustling in the bushes. Narrowing her eyes, she got up from his lap and immediately and slowly went for the shotgun in her knapsack. Cocking it back slowly, she looked around, following the sounds. There was more than one... and they were fast. What in the world was coming?

Dean smiled and nodded though he sighed slightly, "Yes true." He muttered softly despite the fact that he'd rather get laid before this. "Can't wait to see them." Dean told her as he smiled at the woman that had so thoroughly won his heart and made him truly feel good. He cared about her and was quite sure that he was getting attached and he didn't need to be attached to her but he was.
He enjoyed the talking with her because she was very much a woman that he wanted to know better. Talking and just listening to her words and the way she spoke about everything, it was so nice to just haave her there. It felt natural better than even having Lisa there had he knew that this was probably the closest he'd ever come to actual loving relationship.
He listened to her intently fully understanding not talking to parents he'd heard so many stories and tales. "Because Aislinn was here and Castiel was told to guard her and us. So we came here to make his job easier. It was for Cas." Dean said to her as he thought about things and the whole fact that everything was all kinds of hell in his life. "Not to mention it gives me a chance to see other parts of the world..." As he looked down at her smiling at the woman.
Once she was up and grabbing her weapon he grabbed his angel blade and picked up his rifle. He was at the ready not knowing what was coming but he'd come prepared for any number of creatures. He listened carefully for the noises that would better tell him what danger was here to attack them.

Re: A Walk in the Woods // Dean Winchester
Slowly creeping toward the bushes, she held her gun up, ready for anything that would try to jump out. She stopped after a moment, just watching it, holding one hand out to stop Dean from getting to close. Narrowing her eyes, she took a deep breath... but she was nervous and bead of sweat had fallen from her temple.
Immediately, as though it had startled the world as it fell to the ground, a man had lashed out from the bushes, shrieking and showing his large, spiked teeth as he slammed into her, making her fall to the ground as her gun had slid away from her. Gasping and pushing the creature away, she was able to flip herself over on top of it.
"Vampires!" she growled as she immediately went for her silver dagger, but the super strength of a vampire was too much for her to handle alone as he immediately flung her off of him and she slammed into a tree. Cracking her neck and not letting the pain get to her, she noticed as the creature had then moved in to attack Dean. She attempted to go after, but something immediately grabbed her by the shoulder and flung her back.
Pinning her against the tree, she began to wriggle. "Get off of me!" she growled at it, but the strength of a vampire was far too much for her to handle. Looking into the eyes of the creature, it immediately took a knife, cutting into its wrist so that it began bleeding. "No... no, don't you dare," she snapped, trying to reach for her dagger. The vampire then instinctively moved the dripping blood toward her mouth.
It was going to turn her.

Re: A Walk in the Woods // Dean Winchester
As she creeped towards the bushes Dean felt anxiety build in his chest, he was so worried that something was going to happen to her. He didn't even notice what they were facing right away because he was watching her and trying to avoid having a panic attack. He shouldn't have those feelings with her because she was a capable hunter but he couldn't help it he cared about her, he was attached.
When the thing lashed out shrieking he felt his heart skip a beat he didn't even have to think to react very much. He put the blade away and dropped the gun, darting for his silver knife. They'd brought everything tehy needed and he stared at her as she was trying to fight the vampire, there was no way she could do it without a weapon.
The word sank in and her dash for the dagger was enough to get him into action he grabbed it and was moving to help her. He roared in fury and went to go after the vampire holding Reagan but he was stopped by another vampire slamming into him. He grunted and quickly slammed his own dagger into the enemies chest. He was angry and in pain now because he'd been slammed into the ground under the attack. Dean was enraged by the attacking vampire because he wanted to protect Reagan.
He roared in anger at the vampires attacking him after he'd dealt with the one of the other vampires, he wasn't going to let her be turned. He was going to help her he knew it too he couldn't let her come to harm, it was just against his better judgement. "GET AWAY FROM HER!" Dean yelled as he tried to fight off the other vampires attacking him, he moved to her shot gun and leveled it at the vampires head firing. One down. Dean thought as he turned and leveled it at another.

Re: A Walk in the Woods // Dean Winchester
At first, there was a blur of light flashing in her face and everything just felt incredibly painful, but it wasn't her being turned. Dean was lucky enough to had gotten the vampire to swing back his arm so she could turn herself around in time. Sliding to the ground as the vampire who had clutched her had moved back when Dean had made his move, beginning to shoot at them, her face was covered in blood (thankfully not entering her mouth) and she was in a daze, unsure of what to say or do.
Immediately she felt her heart race… and she zoned out completely. A look of horror shot on her face and she began to panic, looking up at Dean and then back to the vampires. Well she really blew her chances with him now, didn't she? Just a minute ago she was promising she was a capable fighter. Something about these vampires was… different though. It was as though they were stronger than normal.
She couldn't have expected this. No, it wasn't her fault. Dean would have to understand that they were dealing with something that was out of their control, even if they were killed like normal bloodsuckers. But she started to freak out. Anger surged through her body as she looked around. The tracks. She could follow them and find the vampires back at their nest.
Of course, they were gone. Getting up and looking around in an overwhelmed stupor, her hand pressed against her head, irritability getting to her. She was pissed. Looking back at Dean, she bit her lip and let out a sigh. "I'm fine, but I'm not letting them get away," she quickly turned, bolting into the forest after them.

Re: A Walk in the Woods // Dean Winchester
Dean saw that she was covered in blood along with the vampires running off he growled to himself. She wasn't as strong as she made herself out to be, he wasn't sure how he felt betrayal or anger. For the moment he kept himself from yelling at her for her betrayal by staying somewhat calm. The man was sure that she was going to get herself killed but what could he do about it? She wanted to throw her life away then so be it let her toss her life to wind.
He shook his head and let her zonk out for a minute as he kept on the alert for more vampires as he let her gather herself. Irritation was written across his face as he looked at her, she was a damn good lay but she was obviously not as strong as she thought. That angered him and made him think about asking Castiel or Adriel to erase her memories of their relationship. He shook his head and kept that thought to himself. The vampires weren't quite normal but he'd put up with them because they were after all the enemy.
Whatever was different about these vampires made him really wonder about Reagan's strength as he looked at her. He'd follow those blood suckers and blow them all to their eternal rest, but since she seemed so impulsive he had to be the 'sam' of this hunt. She didn't have enough sense to grab weapons before dashing off.
"All right." He grabbed weapons and everything they'd need to fight vampires, then followed the tracks. Running after the woman that he cared about, but would she really survive this hunt? He shook his head and kept the focus on the fact that he had vampires to kill and a woman to protect. It was with that in mind that he managed to keep moving towards the vampire nest.

Re: A Walk in the Woods // Dean Winchester
Running farther and deeper into the woods, a look of hatred was plastered on Reagan's face as she looked around. She may not be incredibly strong, but she could shoot a gun and was a damn good tracker. She was able to figure out where they were running in no time. Whether or not Dean had followed her though, she was not sure of.
Finally, she found it. There was a cave up ahead and of course it had the stench of something awful and rotting. This was their nest. Usually, if she were on a hunt with Leslie or Aislinn, they'd be able to calm her down to think rationally about how to go in, but she was so angry, she decided to go head on. It had her scent, and it was going to go after her if she didn't go after it.
Seeing a few vampires up ahead, she growled under her breath. "Hey leeches!" she spat out at them, pulling out two handguns from her utility belt and shooting both of them square in the head. She then ran toward them, getting out her machete and slicing them both at their necks to make sure they were fully dead.
Now where was she to go next? She knew that there were more vampires coming her way. Looking behind her, she saw that Dean had caught up and brought the weapons. Marching over to him, she looked at him seriously and took the shotgun. "This is personal, now. Those fuckers want to try and turn me, I'll turn them into a pile of ash." Turning herself around again with the shotgun at hand, she waited for the hoard to arrive.

Re: A Walk in the Woods // Dean Winchester
Dean followed her and knew that this was going to be a hell of a hunt one that would make or break their relationship. He was going to make sure she could hold her own and not worry, he pushed away all the concern and fear into a corner of his mind. If she didn't make it then it'd be her own damned fault no fault of his for her being so reckless. Dean had to keep in mind that she was a Hunter before he came along and that she would remain one even after he left if he did leave her.
That smell was always distinct and he felt his stomach roll as it hit his nose, he didn't want to do anything without thinking but to her it wasn't just a hunt. It was genocide he knew that rage he'd been turned once he knew that it was a horrible feeling but he'd made do. He shook his head as she ran in ahead of him not waiting for him to arrive.
He smiled and shook his head, she had grabbed weapons well at least she had that much sense. He saw they were dead when he arrived and looked at her for a moment, feeling very confident that she'd be fine. He'd also deal with any that came his way he had to try and figure out how to deal with this.
Dean sighed and looked at her, "Calm down. Reagan, you need to calm down." He said to her softly as he turned to look at the oncoming horde. He needed to be sure that he defeated them as well, if she got turned in this fight he would walk away and never look back. This would be a temporary fling in his past as he let Cas or Adriel erase her memories of him and their relationship.
"If you don't calm down everything will go to hell. So calm down." He told her as he looked at her but kept his eyes out for the enemy what were they facing? A new sub breed of vampire? He shook his head as he glanced at her for a moment, he really hoped that she calmed down despite the vampires that were to come.

Re: A Walk in the Woods // Dean Winchester
Feeling a touch against her, the redness that was blinding her vision in rage suddenly had stabilized as she looked up, seeing Dean asking her to calm herself. She was zoned out for a moment until she had finally understood what was being said to her, her defensive arms moving to her sides as she took a deep break, leaning her head into his chest. "I'm calm, I'm cool now."
As she went to say something else though, a shriek of laughing fits erupted from the end of the cave, as though a stampede of hyenas was heading their way. The shadows became scattered, showing at least a dozen separate silhouettes in the distance, followed by one very slim, very tall being behind it. Looking up in nervousness, Reagan took a step back from Dean. "What the hell…?"
As they came into view, the vampires were heading toward them and there was not much time to react. "Shoot them!" she yelled out quickly, "Cut their heads off!" she knew that a gun wasn't going to be effective in killing them… good thing she brought her katana. Swinging it out from over her shoulder, she waited for a few to arrive, swinging her sword forward and slicing their heads off.
What alerted her the most though, was the strange beast that was now coming into view… it was tall, black, with a white faceless gaze as its arms spanded out like tentacles. Continuing to kill the vampires that were coming her way, she had no idea what to expect… but this beast was not going to be easy to beat.

Re: A Walk in the Woods // Dean Winchester
Dean looked at her and knew that rage all to well, he felt it every time he saw a demon but he had learned to keep his cool when needed. He was glad that she was willing to listen to him and obey what he told her when she was like this. Now he knew how Sam felt as he looked at Reagan knowing that he loved her for more than one reason. He kissed the top of her head gently still on alert but happy to have this one moment. "Good stay calm." Dean told her softly as he looked at her wondering if he was like this when he was around Sam.
Then the laughter caused him to turn his head towards the cave in startlement, he had no clue why vampires would be so loud. The shadows made Dean shiver as he looked at the silhouettes counting them carefully. He was trying to figure out how many were there, then the slim figure became visible. He stared in shock as he looked at the creature trying to figure out what it was. "I have no clue what it is but it will be taken care of." Dean told her firmly as he stared at the creatures his shot gun raised.
Dean looked at the creatures and fired the shotgun aiming for their heads to decapitate them, then he turned and drew his machate charging into the enemies. He would kill them and deal with the mystery figure later right now he was more worried about killing the vampires. "I know how to kill vampires." Dean said to her seriously.
He looked at the creature trying to figure it out as he fought the vampires, what the hell was it? He had never seen anything like it before as he stared at it still killing vampires, as he saw the creature going towards Reagan. His heart skipped a beat as he saw she was in danger from that thing he was going to kill it and help her or die trying.

Re: A Walk in the Woods // Dean Winchester
Continuing forward and moving along vampires she was swinging at, she found herself becoming a bit too into the moment. She absolutely hated vampires, and for good reason, too. As she continued to kill them, she had finally noticed that the other ones were fleeing. Why would they do that? Looking up at Dean with a raised brow inc confusion, she noticed a look on his face that was... worrisome.
Turning around quickly, she noticed the large, slender being that was standing over her, and she immediately took several steps back, trying to get away from the beast. A shallow breath escaped her lips in fear. She had never seen or faced a creature like this. How does it die? Immediately she shot at it. Nothing. So then she pulled out her dagger and sliced across it's front. Nothing.
"Oh shit..." she took a few more steps back. At least the thing was moving slowly and didn't try to lash at her. As she then scurried through her bag, she found a Molotov cocktail. Getting a lighter out, she quickly threw it at the beast before running back to Dean, leaping at him to avoid the explosion and practically landing onto him in his arms. Looking back, the fire was too thick to see if they had killed it or not, and she wasn't about to wait. "We need to go. Now!"

Re: A Walk in the Woods // Dean Winchester
Dean killed the vampires then the new thing was shock as he knew it wouldn't die or go down easily. He was so very worried about the fact that it didn't die, vampires he understood but this thing was a whole new ballpark it was something he wasn't familiar with at all.
The thing was at Reagan and he charged recklessly towards it, he had to protect her. She was his girlfriend and he'd protect her no matter what. The creature looked so dangerous and so very much a thing that Dean would have hated to see in the darkness. But now that it looked to be darkness itself he shuddered and stopped cold when he saw none of Reagan's weapons working on it.
Dean picked her up and adjusted her weight and ran for all he was worth away from this place. He didn't want to be around if that thing was going to kill. He was runnning back to the campsite and he'd protect her if he needed to but she was quite strong and capable all her own. Once he was away from the site of the fight and back at Camp he looked at her, setting her down. "What the hell was that thing?" He asked panting slightly as he was out of breath and his heart was thundering in his chest. Feeling fear and concern, it was a normal mix for Dean but along with it adrenalin.
