Personality: The Master is the polar opposite of the Doctor in almost every respect. Though he retains a brilliant Time Lord mind and all of the Doctor's wit and cunning, he possesses two fatal character flaws - he is arrogant and exceptionally vain.

History: The Master grew up on Gallifrey along side The Doctor, the two were friends once but after the age of eight when The Master had to stare into the Time Vortex it is believed his personality changed. From then on he parted ways from The Doctor, seeing insane and not himself. The constant drumming followed him his entire life and made him think he was insane because no one else could seem to hear it.

From regeneration to regeneration through out his life up until the Time War he kept running into the Doctor and would cause quite a bit of trouble for him. When the war started The Master fled, leaving everything behind as he sealed his identity in a FOB watch. He started life anew at the end of the universe, not knowing who or what he was. That was until the Doctor showed up again, everything became clear. He remember it all and soon enough his assistant thought he was crazy and shot him before shortly dying herself. The Master was forced to change, to regenerate before taking off.

The Master having escaped the clutches of The Doctor was now free to roam. With a cheshire cat smile he strode down the street's of London, avoiding the humans that came too close. He was very amused with their hustle and bustle lives, skittering around like ants. Chuckling to himself he strode a corner to a near by store to acquire some clothing, life is good when you are free.
