Siren had decided to take a vacation from time travel and have some alone time back in London. Although she had alerted the Doctor that she may be away for a little bit, she hadn't told many people about it. Truthfully, she didn't have many friends anymore, not in this regeneration anyways. She decided to go to the bar and meet up with the regulars whom she would see every so often before she had started traveling with the Doctor once more.

A few shots later, it was getting quite late and everyone was starting to head home. Something seemed a bit strange about tonight though, as though she had some bad vibes that were coming off from tonight. Well... she better be careful, she thought. She patted above her belt line on her back where her gun was hiding and nodded seeing that it was still there. Taking a few steps out the door, she looked around and remembered that she had parked her TARDIS somewhere down the streets behind some old buildings.

Walking over, she noticed how cold and dark it was tonight. It was particularly a frigid one, and she only in her leather jacket and tight black pants with leather boots, like always. She usually wasn't bothered by the cold, but tonight was a bit different. She had a bit of anxiety for whatever reason. Something was not right about tonight. It was as though she was forgetting something... and as she turned down the alleyway to head behind the buildings, she sighed, remembering that she had completely forgotten to tell The Doctor where she'd be staying. I'll have to send him a ring when I get back to the TARDIS I suppose...

Red Wine // The Brigand Empty Re: Red Wine // The Brigand

The Brigand sat on an old leather chair in his lair, quiet and in contemplation. The place was quite spacious and spectacular, especially with it being deep underground. He built it much like that of Lex Luthers from the superman movie, not really bothering that he was ripping off a movie set. In truth more serious matters were puzzling him right now, like the doctor and that girlfriend of his. He had been acting as an ally of his for quite a while now, helping him and Siren out from time to time and building up their relationship as much as he could, even killing his own coven to gain the Doctors sympathy. In truth he intended to continue this charade for longer but after tasting a Time-Lords blood for the first time in millennia he couldn't contain himself any longer. Especially when he caught a whiff of the Time-Lady he had drank from as she passed over the drain many meters above him.

Rising from his chair he looked up, his head drifting along as she walked, as if he could see through the ceiling above him. Immediately he blurred out of his lair, through the sewers and onto the street, taking a deep whiff of the air to regain her scent before becoming a speeding blur once more. He was not nervous about what he was about to do as he had done far greater atrocities in the past however he didn't have it all completely planned, never really intending to spring into action this early however the smell and taste of a Time-Lord couldn't be denied, especially to one as old as him, who has drank from many of their kind.

He eventually stopped just shy of light from a lamp post, opting to stay in the shadows as he watched her walk. He could tell something was bothering her, hear hearts beating slightly faster than normal and the slight shiver of her body from a race that can handle the cold better than the natives of this planet. He could easily take her out then and there but he had no intention of killing her. At least not right away.

The Brigand stepped out of the shadow's, giving a slight wave to the alien in front of hims as he walked up to her. "You know your really shouldn't be walking about London by yourself, especially at this time of night. How come the Doctor is not with you Demory?" He stopped just a couple of feet away from her, not wanting to cause fear right away.

She had been walking for quite a while now and when she had finally made it around the corner from the alleyway, she stopped in confusion. Where was the TARDIS? She could have sworn she parked over here. She groaned in irritation, she was lost again. Of course, her TARDIS couldn't be far, but it was too cold and too dark to be wandering around for too long. She would have to head back to her old apartment she made frequent visits to.

When she turned around she was half startled to see The Brigand standing before her, questioning why she was out and without the Doctor. Letting out a sigh in relief she shook her head. "You scared me for a moment, thought you were some thug," she laughed it off quickly as she walked up to him casually. "I'm on a vacation from the time travel, actually. Just needed some alone time, you know?"

She then looked around for a moment and sighed. "I'm actually a bit lost and it's way too cold to be out here for too long. Do you know where the nearest underground is?" she shrugged as she watched in. "Can't find my TARDIS, and I know it's here somewhere... but I'm too tired to keep looking. I'll have to try again in the morning."

Red Wine // The Brigand Empty Re: Red Wine // The Brigand

The Brigand held his hands up in a false sign of peace with a friendly smile on his face. In truth he always enjoyed Sirens company but his hatred for The Doctor outshined any compassion towards her. "Didn't mean to frighten you. Just making sure your safe, walking through the middle of London by yourself at this time of night." It was his intention to make her feel secure. Of course he could take her by force then and there but in truth he didn't want to put her through any more trauma than he had to. Not out of a sense of right or wrong but simply because he enjoyed her company.

He began to walk over to her, lowering his hands and keeping that friendly smile on his face as he done so. "Sure, I know where it is. I'll walk you there." He dipped his hands his his pockets, in an attempt to seem as unthreatening as possible. "A lot of f shark teeth has been encroaching on my territory since my coven had been killed. It's not as safe as it used to be around here."

The alien vampire stop walking as he got within a foot of her, sticking his elbow out for her to loop her arm through his. He wasn't lying about all the shark teeth vampires. Every since he killed his own coven to gain The Doctors sympathies they have been growing more bold. They're lack of weaknesses compared to his and their numbers giving them courage they never had before. Only his age and strength held them back and it wouldn't do so forever. However all he cared about was his revenge on the doctor and he would happily die for that to happen.

Red Wine // The Brigand Empty Re: Red Wine // The Brigand

Hearing of the dangers of the alleyways, Siren gave a subtle laugh, shaking her head. "Aren't I a bit too old for fairy tales, Brigand?" Sure she had heard the rumors about the wandering vampires, demons, angels, and etc., but was it true? She had never been a huge believer in the supernatural. Still, she took his heed, and was relieved when he mentioned knowing where her TARDIS was.

Letting her arm link with his, most likely to make her less vulnerable to any straggler monsters or thugs, she looked around the area. Maybe she drank a little too much, but did she really park in somewhere so remote? A look of confusion washed over her face for a moment, although she quickly covered it up and remained calm. She didn't want him to think she was losing her composure.

"So I'm guessing you're around these parts a lot," she decided to attempt at some small talk to lessen the tension. Wow had she really parked it around here? She didn't remember walking that far... or parking on this side of the town. Something was weird... but maybe he was taking her somewhere safe. There was a weird feeling about tonight... and she felt her heart sink. If only I called the Doctor...
